Vans

f/6.3
1/250
ISO 160

This is a high-key picture that I had to take for the fahion spread. I took a lot of pictures for this spread for various reasons, but mainly because the person assigned to it was in my B4 class. Carlie had shown me (briefly) how to set up a high key before so I tried my best to set it up. I used the 2 green bees on either side of the shoes, and the pink bee on the umbrella thing behind me. I think it turned out okay but the shoes were super dirty so I think it'd look better with cleaner shoes. I ended up having to edit in in Lightroom some but I'm happy with it overall since I just kindof winged it.

Monogramed vest

f/6.3
1/250
ISO 160

This is another picture for the fashion spread. I took it the same day as the vans so I had the same settings and gear. I didn't like this picture as much because I felt like it wasn't consistent with the others since someone was wearing the vest, and no one was wearing the vans. Also the girl that's wearing it has her hair to the side which is fine

Monogramed phone case

f/7.1
1/250
ISO 125

This was ANOTHER picture for the fashion spread. This one was a little harder to take since it's a phone case as it's smaller, but I basically went through the same process as the other high key fashion spread pictures.

FAILURE

f/2.8
1/1600
ISO 200

I honestly don't even know what this is. I was attempting to take pictures for my photo challenge. I think it could've been cool if I would have caught her in front of the sun, and if there was a better background. Maybe I'll try it again someday.

Emily Humphries

f/4.5
1/160
ISO 800

This picture was of Emily for the mash program something or another. I don't like the picture, and the ceiling lights are in the background. It's not even anywhere near a good photo, but hey I brought a flash. I don't know what she's doing with her mouth but it's really werd. It's almost like she's trying to be a model but hey whatever that's fine.

Building trades

f/3.5
1/100
ISO 800

This is from the one trip I made to building trades. I didn't take a flash, and i was kinda nervous because they were sanding and camera and I'm bad luck Kelsi. So, I forgot a flash if that isn't obvious. I should've ran my ISO up a little more, and I have no idea why I didn't do that. I think I got a few usable pictures from this trip.

Leadership at Highland Park

f/2.8
1/100
ISO 800

This assignment was super fun. Little kids and presents. What could be better? I shot this with Meagan, and I think we both had fun. We were in a classroom so iser my ISO to 800, and my aperture at 2.8 since I had a 17-50. I think a lot of my pictures turned out well. I completely forgot about entering any of these into contest, so I'll probably look through them to see if any are worthy.

Lindsey Gore

f/4
1/60
ISO 800

Well. This was terrible. For one, I went to this assignment without a flash. Two, I needed to be able to see what she is doing, and I was told she'd be giving CPR to a dummy, but she wanted to pretend stitch a sponge instead. Three, I got a couple nice verticals, but my horizontals were lacking, and the horizontals were what was needed.

Softball

f/2.8
1/2500
ISO 320

This was a yearbook assignment for a spread about people going to college for sports. I was pretty excited to take this assignment. I wanted a fantastic creamy background, so I took the bigma and went with it. It was sunny outside, so I set my ISO to 320. I know my aperture needed to be as low as it could, so I went with 2.8. I was imagining her tossing the ball up or side to side and kind of giving a "yeah that's right I'm going to college and I play softball blah blah" kind of look, but I'm happy with the result. Overall i really enjoyed getting to shoot this, because i haven't done a lot of stuff like this for the yearbook. It also prepared me for taking the Grant McNeil picture at the baseball fields.
