 I don't even want to talk about this. I like the photo, but I had to make the wing have motion blur and i have no idea how to do that but i was determined to figure something out on my own instead of asking, so i just went with it. This is how it turned out. I am giving myself major props for the butterfly though because i made it out of paper and its perfectly symmetrical if you were wondering. I shot this by setting up a 600 flash on a light stand and just pointing it at the butterfly from behind my white background. It was easy to do because I used regular 8x11 printer paper as the background so the flash was still able to be close to the butterfly to create the shadow I needed.

This is my creeper project. I wold change a few things about it if i could, like the placement of the shadow, but I'm still happy with the result. Savannah and I worked on this together, so our subjects are the same people, but our photos look totally different so I think it's okay. I wish my shadow was lower so it looked like the subject was actually able to escape or something I guess. It was really difficult to get this picture because I had to have savannah hold the umbrella light steady over the railing above the subject since i didn't set my photo up like the average creeper shot. Getting a shadow wasn't hard at all, but i had the sometimes-working flash so i had to check on it every once in a while. Towards the end of this, the 600 that was on the umbrella started to be dumb and I think it was because the batteries were going dead. Luckily i finally got it to work once to get this photo. I didn't make a diagram, sorry :(((

gatsby party- best

These are the somewhat okay pictures from the Gatsby party that the juniors had this year. Mrs. Washington asked me to take pictures there, and i said yes BUT IT WAS TERRIBLE.

These are obviously the bad photos from the Gatsby party. I don't even want to talk about the first photo. That was like the first one i took and the whole rowdy group just ran over there and got in front of the background but i tried to tell them that it wouldn't work BUT THEY WOULDNT LISTEN UGH

Practice for gatsby project

Well i know this is a weird, terrible photo but i am dsperate for blogs. I was trying to see how I could light my photo green to take a portrait of "gatsby" and incorporate a green light because of obvious reasons. I ended up getting rid of the whole green light idea all together.

Warrior Dash

This is from the warrior dash that my step mom ran. My dad asked me to take pictures of it and i was happy with some of the things i got. I like the picture of the girl giving the thumbs up because she's rule of thirds to the right and the background is blurry wit a correct exposure. i just like it.

I WON A JOSTENS AND IM SO HAPPY THIS POST WAS NECESSARY. It feels great. I didn't really think i'd get anything, so i wash't really expecting to feel anything but I do and its super cool.
