Clones

This is a picture I just took for fun. I wanted to photograph clones because I saw some photos on flickr and I was inspired. My clone pictures didn't turn out very well, but I still think this picture is super cute. It's just a little clone reaching out with his little clone hand. :)
But really I wasn't to happy or unhappy with these photos. This is, in my opinion, the best one. All of the others were just eh. I shot with the macro for the first time and it was nice but I wish I would've bumped my aperture up a little so that the whole clone would have been sharp.

1948 Child Spy

This is a photo taken for our thematic Top portfolio. This photo has my credit, but many photographers helped with the set up of this shot. I also had help with the editing in photoshop. In this particular photo, all of the photographers were just trying to make the baby look at the camera (or somewhere near the camera) and it was difficult. The woman in the photo is actually not a part of our school's theatre company, but she is the little girls mom and she actually had to put on a jumpsuit that the theatre kids were using as costumes. We got lucky that the mom was a small lady that fit into one of them. Otherwise, the kid wouldn't have let anyone hold her.

Pen Pals

f/4
1/200
ISO 640

This picture is from the Quill & Scroll pen pall trip. I like the photo because chandler is in focus and it's usable for the yearbook Because she's a student and whatnot. This was fun to shoot since there were a bunch of little kids who wouldn't refuse to have their picture taken lik some people at school do. I had my ISO at 640 because I was in a cafeteria, and my aperture was at 4 since I was shooting with a 24-105, and my shutter speed was set to 1/200. I also had a 530 flash. The only thing I really don't like about the picture is that you can see the lights on the ceiling. If I were to shoot something like this again I'd try to avoid that.

Scarf Pic

f/6.3
1/200
ISO 200

This is another high key picture for the fashion spread. This girl was really pale, so it looks kinda weird. I just set this up like my other high key fashion spread pictures.

Sydney Schoen

f/4.5
1/400
ISO 800

This picture was for a yearbook spread. I had to go to the bistate with Sydney to take a picture of her in the courtroom because she interned there this summer. Smith showed me how to do this cool thing with a flash, so I took a 24-105, a 580, and a 7D and went with it. I don't think it turned out as well as it ds when I practiced with him in the classroom, but i think the picture is okay. It was really awkward and intimidating to take the picture there because the judge was there and I had to be really professional (which is okay but not somethig that happens often).
