bacon fry
I kinda really like this picture. The subject is doing something, so I think it's okay for him to be facing the way he is. Also, his shirt looks like super orange so that's cool. It's almost as cool as the first time you use a orange Crayola marker. There is a girl that's kinda touching her butt in the background though. I just noticed that. Anyway, this picture wasn't hard to shoot since it wasn't too sunny or anything outside. I had a lot of fun shooting the bacon fry.

Homecoming fail 10/10
ISO 800
0.4
f/2.8
This picture is from homecoming, obviously. I tried the whole focus and tilt thing with a low shutter speed. It didn't really work, but i still think it looks super cool. This isn't a usable picture, but i definitely learned what to do for the next dance (I think).

THS vs that N place 10/8
ISO 1600
1/250
f/4
I chose to upload a picture from this football game because I don't like it. It might be an okay picture if our players limbs weren't cut off. I was impressed with the whole frozen motion thing since pictures from night games usually have a little bit of motion blur. I don't know how or why this picture is that way, but i do like it. I had fun shooting this game, and i think i got a few usable pictures. I really like shooting football so far.

Play Rehearsal 9/25
f/4
1/125
ISO 320
This picture is of a couple of "importance of being earnest" cast members getting ready for rehearsal. I like the picture, but i ran into a problem once i got to this assignment because i only took a 70-200 lens and the prep for rehearsal was in a really small room so i just did the best i could since it was after school hours and i couldn't get another lens.

fun in the sand 9/23
f/4
1/1250
ISO 100
I know this is another golf picture, but i really love this one. I actually layed on the ground to take this picture right in front of Emma and she shot the ball over me. i got a little sand everywhere, but I think it was worth it to get this picture.

Buggy 9/19
f/4
1/640
ISO 1000
This picture was from the girls golf practice. I really like shooting golf, and i know that during an actual tournament i can't get all up on the players like i did during practice, but i still really enjoyed it. it was really hot the day i shot this, so i was motivated to get out there, get some good shots, ad leave. This isn't my best picture of the day, but it makes me happy because there's actually a bug on the ball. i have no idea how it happened because Emma had just hit the ball. I don't know, its just so cute.

Tennis 9/17
f/4
1/1600
ISO 400
This picture isn't an action shot, but i still really like what happened here. I don't really know tennis very well, but i think our player is losing. I like the feel of this picture, and i think it'd be easy to recreate with a winning score next time i shoot tennis. This was my first go around with an outside sport, and i think it went pretty well. I really love being able to shoot in the sunlight because your shutter speed can be super fast and freeze motion and whatnot.

Bacon plates for 1800?
This picture is of the first plates of bacon set out on Friday morning. I'd like this picture more if I would've leaned over the table a little more in order to get more of the bacon that's cooking in the shot, since that's what's in focus. I think I had some trouble with the lighting for this picture because it was that weird in-between dark and light kind of sky. I learned a lot when I was shooting the bacon fry.

I love bacon & I love you
Bacon is yummy. This picture makes me want some, so I thought it'd be a good one to blog about. The only thing I could really complain about in this picture is that the grease actually popped me while taking it. Also I wish the whole handle to the pan was in the photo. Other than that, I'm happy with it. I took this one so close up because for our yearbook this year we need more photos of objects (like bacon frying) to fill in some areas.

Bacon has eyes
This was earlier in the morning of the bacon fry. Kyle Somethingoranother, I think that's his name, is cookin' bacon. I wish there wasn't a random arm magically floating and cookin' bacon along with Kyle, but it is what it is I guess. This picture isn't my best, especially because of the angle and the fact that the subject isn't facing my direction, so you can't see his eyes very well. The subject is obviously the bacon because bacon has eyes. No? Okay..

Bacon and orange out wut wut
I think this picture is a good representation of orange out and bacon fry. I have no idea who these two kids are, but they're wearing orange and about to eat some bacon so it works for me. This was obviously later in the bacon fry, so I didn't have that may problems taking this one, since I already had all of my settings right and such. By the way, I'm not blogging from T-High so I haven't been able to look at what my exact setting were for this picture.
