This picture is another that i like from the Drill Team practice shoot. I know there is a lot of wasted space and it probably couldn't be used in the yearbook or newspaper like this, but I still like it. I really love how the ceiling lights reflect on the floor, and I like how there are some girls sitting and watching the other girls dance. I think this could almost be one of those telling a story pictures. I was standing on a chair when I shot this, but you can barely tell. I was using a 10-24 lens.

Drill Team Space
This photo assignment was tricky because the lighting in the "Rehersal Room" was super weird. I'd never shot in any kind of theatre lighting before, so it took me a few tries to get my settings right. The actual story is about how Drill Team needs an actual room for themselves to practice in, so i tried to get shots of the girls that weren't dancing having to sit around the girls that were dancing (all amongst backpacks), and girls literally dancing into walls. Carlie didn't seem super impressed with many of my photos, so I'm not sure if they'll be used or not, but i had fun shooting this one.
This picture, to me, is one of the better ones i took. I really like how all of the girls in the front row are smiling and being happy and whatnot. It doesn't do much to convey the actual purpose, but i personally like the photo.
